Steph King created this original painting in 2025 as part of the Gold Coast’s art exhibition, Made To Suit. The exhibition featured artwork of 60+ Australian tattoo artists. Each artist was supplied the same size paper with a printed template of a life-size male or female figure for which they could create a unique piece of art.
The original artworks were over 6 foot tall and exhibited in July at Miami Marketta on the Gold Coast.
Steph’s painting was inspired by the Art Nouveau style x neo-traditional tattoo style. Mediums used were watercolour, ink and gold leaf. The original painting featured the moon and stars in gold leaf.
This limited edition print is meticulously hand-embellished by Steph with gold leaf, to give the same effect as the original. The gold leaf is applied to the moon and stars.
